Welcome!

This new members- only website is designed to better serve and inform our Girl Scouts, volunteers and parents / guardians.  The GSNETX public website and members-only website will grow over the next couple of years to include a CEO Blog, Forums, Videos, and much more!

A special thank you goes out to all the volunteers and staff who provided insight into the development of this new website. Please email Monica Contreras at mcontreras@gsnetx.org if you have any questions, comments or concerns regarding the new website!

LMK Website

LMK ("let me know") is an online safety campaign created in partnership with Girl Scouts of the USA and Microsoft. The campaign includes an interactive website for girls, as well as an e-newsletter and website for adults.

GSNETX encourages girls to visit LMK at http://lmk.girlscouts.org for online safety tips. Girl Scout parents / guardians are encouraged to go to http://letmeknow.girlscouts.org so they can subscribe to the LMK newsletter, written by girls. The newsletter helps parents/guardians gather tips and tools to help keep their families safer online.

Advocacy Network

GSUSA has established the Girl Scouts Advocacy Network—a grassroots network where Girl Scout members and supporters can act on issues moving through Congress and the state legislatures that are important to girls and Girl Scouts. These issues include healthy living, increasing girls’ involvement in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), financial literacy, and leadership. The network will also focus on issues that will expand the delivery of the Girl Scout program into currently underserved communities.

To join the Girl Scout Advocacy Network, simply go to www.GirlScouts4girls.org and click on the “Girl Scout Advocacy Network” link placed under the words “JOIN NOW” or simply follow the instructions on the Girl Scout Advocacy Network Registration Form.

Got Pictures?

GSNETX needs to update our photo library and we need your help! Please email your latest Girl Scout pictures to pictures@gsnetx.org. Please note that the pictures that you send may appear in GSNETX communications (e.g., publications, websites, promotions, etc.). If you send a picture that shows individuals that are not current registered members of Girl Scouts, please have them complete a Photo Release Policy and attach the signed Photo Release Policy to the email. For more information regarding Photo Release Policies or to obtain a Photo Release Policy, click here.

Burn Ban

There are currently no burn bans for our area in effect. Thank you for your patience and cooperation in helping protect our camps. Please contact the Texas Forest Service for more information.
