Camp Gambill

Camp Gambill is a beautifully-wooded, 54-acre facility.

Featuring a sandy waterfront, the camp has a swimming area protected by a floating pier, up-to-date canoeing and sailing equipment, a ropes course and a grassy area for waterside activities.

Hiking trails weave amid the trees that cover the inland camping areas.

Cabins and sturdy platform tents are safe housing for campers, with showers and latrine facilities nearby.

The camp also has an air-conditioned dining hall and infirmary.

Parents of girls with special dietary needs (vegetarian, Kosher, halal, etc.) should contact the council at least 30 days prior to program to ensure their daughter's needs can be accommodated.

Girls will devote a portion of each session to a special area of interest. The remainder of the session will be spent participating in general camp activities (e.g. hiking, swimming daily (weather permitting), arts and crafts, cooking out, discovering nature, etc.). The emphasis of the session is included in the individual session write up.
